“On Sunday September 26th in the beautiful seaside town of Bray Co. Wicklow we witnessed not only beautiful sunshine but also a very entertaining football match played with all the attributes that you would expect from players who earned the right to be called legends against a Bray Firefighters side that certainly did themselves and their home town proud. For the real football fan the real enjoyment was the chance to get up close to their heroes, John Aldridge, Niall Quinn, Keith Gillespie, Phil Neal, Jason McAteer, Alan Kennedy, Don Hutchinson, Paul Walsh, Clayton Blackmore, David May, Andy Cole, Lee Sharpe and Dave Beasant. The Legends XI games offer football fans a great opportunity to spend a memorable day with the players that gave them so much joy and excitement for many years during their professional careers. We can definitely say that the Legends XI experience is something not to be missed, and you can only truly value the experience by being there. The proceeds of this event are split between 2 very worthy charities, The Laura Lynn Foundation and Irish Autism Action which made this event truly special.
