Funding Support Now Available For Your Club

Legends XI are pleased to announce that we are currently negotiating to secure funding for sports clubs around Ireland to go towards hosting a Legends XI fundraising game in 2012!
Following the success of this year’s Legends XI fundraising events, we delighted to announce last month that helped clubs and charities raise over £150k in 2011, we are doing everything we can to make sure 2012 exceeds all expectations. Our number one priority is to continue to generate opportunities for clubs to raise as much money as possible for the local game!
Legends XI director commented, “We recognise that times are hard especially for sports clubs around Ireland, we want to do as much as we possibly can to help clubs survive in this economic climate. We hope that through this funding scheme we will be able to make the prospect of hosting a Legends game attainable to more clubs! We are sure we are going to receive funding and at the moment we are negotiating exactly how much we can get in 2012, so I would advise clubs that are interested in hosting a Legends game next year to contact us straight away to express their interest and we will get a funding application sent to them in due course.”
Legends XI hope to announce the launch of this project before the end of the year with the first strand of successful candidates being announced in early February. Clubs interested in being part in the first strand of funding are invited to make an expression of interest now.
