Ken Doherty Poker Challenge Fundraising Weekends

Legends XI are pleased to announce the Ken Doherty Poker Challenge Fundraising Weekends are now available for local clubs across Ireland to book this Autumn/Winter 2011!
Local football clubs around Ireland trying to think of new and exciting ways to raise funds, look no further, the Legends XI Poker Challenge is the perfect fundraiser for your club! The event takes place over a full weekend, with qualifying on Friday and Saturday night and the final on Sunday where Ken Doherty and a sports star from the world of GAA, Rugby, Football or Boxing, will play the 16 qualifiers.
World Champion Snooker player, Ken Doherty commented, “I am really excited to work with Colin and the Legends XI team this winter to help raise much needed funds for sports clubs across Ireland.”
Legends XI will take care of the registration, poker equipment and dealer staff for each evening; all the club needs to do is sell the tickets! Both Ken Doherty is a world renowned sportsman in his own field, has since made a name for himself on the poker circuit and will be sure to give the local players a run for their money!
Legends XI commented, “We are delighted to announce this new fundraiser for local sports clubs! All clubs need to raise money and we think this is the perfect winter event that’s easy to organise and due to the fantastic prize fund and the chance to play with World Snooker Champion, Ken Doherty and the likes of John Aldridge, it will be very easy to sell!”
